Some of our recent student projects.

—Procter & Gamble:
Creative Compaction
This project examined consumer aspirations with regard to packaging. It involved exploring how customers perceived present packaging products, competitor landscaping, consumer testing regarding the gathering and evaluation of information, feedback on ideas, and de-coding of consumer profiles. Product proposals were then created and tested with consumer groups, and results evaluated. The client presentation involved the creation of new insights, scenarios and concept directions.

Applied Science, and C4D:
Medical Equipment Design
This project was about science based bench prototypes that enable blood separation in conjunction with micro-manufacture investigations leading to the design of user based personal care products that will provide health markers and bring forward disease symptom identification to save lives. It involved health scientists, engineers and designers working together. The study involved investigation of human applications including psychological, emotional and functional considerations, and a product design process leading to new product proposals. The project also involved a study of how specialists from each of the disciplines work together.

Public Sector Resilience in the event of Flu Epidemic
This project was directed to the preparedness for future scenarios in the management of occurrence of national flu epidemic. It is part of a design platform attracting increasing attention with the recognition of applications of creative methods to the public services sector. The project involved development of understanding of dealing with populations on an emotional and functional level, and the use of design and communication for social responsibility, leveraging positive difference to personal well-being and health.
